Pamela J. Ritz is President of Specialty Risk Management, Inc. (SRM) located in Austin, Texas. She attended the Georgia Tech School of Engineering and also obtained additional advanced degree courses from the University of Georgia with specialties in business and computer science. Ms. Ritz has more than 20 years of industry experience in high tech manufacturing and engineering, served as a comptroller, operations manager and product marketing manager. She has experience including heavy industry manufacturing skills, traffic and material handling expertise along with Quality/Reliability programs and Statistical Process Control. She also served and as Chief Operating Officer of a medical corporation before founding SRM in 1991. SRM has served private consulting needs for clients throughout diverse industry sectors.

Topics include human resources management and control, employment practices liability issues, errors and omissions coverage, exposures for directors and officers, crisis management, and risk management/loss control practices.

She is nationally published and has been a guest on radio and television programs relating to employment practices. She is a frequent speaker at national conventions. Some of her recent speaking engagements include:

  • Speaking on Hotline Risk Management services for the Series Six Conference presented by Employers Reinsurance Corporation, a GE Capital Corporation

SRM has more than 150,000 client interactions to its credit. SRM serves as an employer hotline and crisis management resource for a national employment practices insurance product, 24- hour food borne illness business interruption program, and additional professional liability programs.

Pam's company is appointed as the U.S. Crisis Management Company for Lloyd's of London on Products Recall and Food Borne Illness insurance coverages in the United States.

Pam is also co-founder of Internet Legal Education and Development, Inc. (ILEAD), an

E-commerce company endorsed by the State Bars of Texas, California and Oregon, which provides participatory and ethics continuing legal education credits to attorneys via the Internet.
